Amana Vault holds private notes for estate readiness: who you leave behind, debts and trusts to settle first, wasiyyah notes, family outline, and farāʾiḍ study tools. It is a trust (amānah) between you and those who may need this after you — not a court filing and not a fatwa.
Why do it the right way — Allah commands justice in what we leave behind. Harmful or unjust wills are a serious matter. The Prophet ﷺ warned against injustice in the will:
“Indeed a man and a woman perform deeds in obedience to Allah for sixty years, then death presents itself to them, and they cause such harm in the will that the Fire becomes warranted for them.” — reported from al-Tirmidhī · educational wording; verify full isnād and fiqh with a scholar
Use this space to organise names, rights, and notes so heirs are not left in confusion — then confirm inheritance and wasiyyah with a qualified local scholar and, where needed, counsel.
Create a strong passphrase (prefer 12+). Never reuse email or banking passwords.
Too many failed attempts. Wait or reset this device vault.
Reset destroys encrypted data on this device only. Clarity cannot recover a lost passphrase.
- Write your passphrase offline — paper or another offline store you control. Clarity never keeps it and cannot reset it for you.
- Download encrypted vault data regularly — use Export encrypted backup below while unlocked (or after open). Keep copies on media you control.
- No on-device hint — reminder strips were removed so nothing on this phone can weaken the passphrase.
- Failed attempts lock the gate — after several wrong tries, wait or type
RESET VAULTto destroy local data and start over (this device only). - Ultimate loss — if the passphrase and all backups are gone, vault contents cannot be recovered. That is intentional for privacy.
Security: data encrypted on this device (AES-GCM). Passphrase never stored. Auto-locks after idle. Use Print vault pack only when unlocked — you will be asked to confirm.
