Clarity Charter
This charter states how Clarity aims to serve learners. It is a living commitment, not a legal contract.
1. Purpose
Clarity exists to support Islamic learning and responsible daʿwah through ordered paths, practical modules, and privacy-respecting tools — for the sake of Allah.
2. Sources & humility
- Primary references: the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah, as understood through reliable scholarship.
- We prefer clarity over controversy; when schools of law differ, we encourage asking a local teacher.
- Weak or unverified stories (including careless Isrāʾīliyyāt) must not be taught as certain dīn.
3. Curriculum backbone
- Seeker (junior): foundations of belief and hope.
- New Muslim (junior high): purification, prayer, daily ḥalāl map.
- Daily (high school): tajweed, meaning, weekly accountability.
- Daʿī (university-style): method, ethics, content craft, portfolio — without claiming formal certification.
4. Adab of invitation
- Invite with wisdom and good instruction (Qur’an 16:125).
- No compulsion in religion; no mockery of people.
- Media and memes: scenery and text only — no prophet likeness, no using muṣḥaf as decoration.
5. Privacy & trust (amānah)
- Notes and vault features are intended for user-controlled, on-device storage where implemented.
- We do not ask for belief tests to use the educational paths.
- Users should not paste secrets they cannot afford to lose on any web device.
6. Limits
- Educational reflection only — not a fatwa service.
- End-of-life and inheritance pages are general education; local law and qualified scholars govern real cases.
- External links are for learning; Clarity does not control third-party sites.
7. Improvement
Paths, activities, and static guides will improve over time. Errors should be corrected with humility. Feedback through community channels is welcome when offered with adab.
